Updated Membership Database Offers New Features

If you haven't taken advantage of the FREE Chamber of Commerce database offered by JAWS Media, you have several new reasons to do so now since a number of upgrades makes working with the application a lot easier! The latest release version 1.5 now offers an "Auto Fill" when adding locations to Chamber Membership entries and an easy export wizard to get your membership locations published.

This Auto Fill automacially fills in the Locations form with the data from the master Chamber record at the click of a button. Since, in most cases, Chamber Members only have one location and the data entered into the master member record is the same for its location, this new featue saves valuable data entry time.

What's more? Printing out your membership list now offers a number of sorting options to allow you to customize what order the list prints. The options include: alphabetical order, add date order and business type order. Each of these are now included in a drop down menu that can be found from the database switchboard.

The Chamber Database application has a new feature for those organizations that need to record their incoming calls. This feature is especially helpful for those who also use Hotel Occupancy Tax (HOT) funds and operate as Visitor Bureaus or Visitor Centers.

The form is a simple entry system that allows multiple users at once (if you store the database in a Shared or Public folder). It records a basic caller description: whether or not the caller is local or non-local, the date/time of the call to help identify trends, a call type, who took the call and the specifics of the caller request.

If you haven't taken this amazing free offer for a test drive, download it now and find out for yourself! Stop searching through long lists in Excel and take advantage of this pre-programmed Microsoft Office Access Database. Why pay for a program when you can have one that is free? Learn more
