How Can the Chamber Database Simplify My Billing?

With the seemingly countless things to keep track of, billing your membership is one of the most important. It is also something you shouldn't have to worry about, especially if you are using the Chamber Database application. Think of it as a backup reminder system. Every tine you login to your database, the application reminds you of any billing that needs to take place for your membership. For those of you that use an accounting program such as QuickBooks, this serves more as a complimentary system as it will make sure you are billing the right member, the right amount. The reminder is not designed to be a full accounting system, just a supplement since you may have members that might not pay their annual dues in full once a year.

Reminder

The reminder pane is convenienctly placed on the right of the switchboard as seen in the example. If there are members that need to pay dues in the current month, the database will let you know how many need to be billed. As you can see from the example, it points you to the "Print Membership Report" button on the switchboard. This report will display every member that needs to be billed in the current month in a handy print out for quick reference.

Membership Billing Report

If you're not using an accounting program for your billing, you'll really appreciate this module as it lets you get right to the list that you need for billing and nothing else. This report itself will list both physical address and billing addres of the business for your convenience. Even if you are using an account program, you'll appreciate being able to double check any changes to address or contact using this report and you'll enjoy not having to search back through your records to find out when you billed the member last time.
